Double Jackpot Poker
Double Jackpot Poker is similiar to Jacks or Better video poker, but there are a few twists. The game doesn’t have any wilds, so it’s straightforward and easy to understand. Perhaps the most attractive feature of Double Jackpot Poker is the bonus round that is triggered by any winning hand.
Double Jackpot Poker features standard video draw poker rules. A player is dealt 5 cards, chooses which cards to hold, and discards the rest. In additional to traditional qualifying hands like flushes and full houses, players get additional payout for certain four of a kind combinations. The most valuable four of a kind is 4 Aces (AAAAx) followed by 4 face cards of the same rank with a face card as the fifth card (QQQQK), 4 face cards with a non-face-card as the fifth card (KKKK4), and four of a kinds Tens or lower (8888A).
As you can see below on the payout tables, premiums are paid for certain four of a kind combinations. If you are close to hitting four face cards, your best bet is to go for that big payday. For example, if you hold two pair, and one of those pairs consists of face cards, it’s best to hold onto the pair of face cards and discard 3 cards.
